An industry first! A tactical internet firewall
AppSpec supplied the initial storage sub-system concept design to allow Secure Computing’s SideWinder firewall software to be deployed onto tactical hardware. We carried out initial proof of concept installation trials onto harsh environment SBC’s and provided a from-scratch development of the fully customized PCI expansion ROM for the secondary storage card.
